The exhibition of Hiroji Kubota, who claims that he is not an artist, but just a photographer, opened March 2nd, 2016 and featured some of the most striking views of the people and landscapes of China and North Korea, among others. The exhibition was organized by Westlicht Gallery in Vienna and was a big success – more than 300 people came to the opening.
Pablo Legorreta, AAF Board member and a friend of Hiroji Kobota, made a generous donation enabling the team at Westlicht to organize a major reception honoring Mr. Kubota. Many artists used this opportunity to meet the famous photographer, until the early morning!
