Music for Medicine concert and dinner celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Open Medical Insitute
This years’ Music for Medicine Benefit took place at Carnegie Hall and celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Open Medical Institute.
A quartet of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra (Martin Kubik, violin; Alexander Steinberger, violin; Martin Lemberg, Viola and Jan Ryska, cello) performed works by Dvorak and Mozart and topped it off with four renditions of Happy Birthday as “composed” by Dvorak, Mozart, Strauss and Brahms.
The concert and dinner were sold out and the evening raised a record $624,000 (per December 17, 2018).
A huge thank you to the musicians, board and faculty members for their support.
